Justice League Movie Review

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."~IMDb

I was so hyped for the movie after seeing the first trailer, and all the content released after only helped to keep that hype going. I was a little concerned that the negative reviews would turn out to be true. Walking out of the movie theater afterwards, I was not disappointed, thinking it one of the best movies.

The story line was well-written, focused, and strong. There was not a bunch of plots going on, making the story easy to follow. Not only that, the movie sucked me right in and I wanted to keep watching, to see what would happen to some of my favorite heroes. The writing was excellent, all the well-placed phrases and speeches. The ending was so beautiful; it made me so happy and wrapped up the movie perfectly.

All the characters were portrayed and characterized very well. Barry was as funny as ever, Diana ready to defend humanity, and Batman as brooding and determined as always. For Cyborg and Aquaman's first time being in a movie, I felt like they got both the characters just right. I can already tell that I like Mera from what they showed of her.

While I can't say it was better than Wonder Woman, Justice League was an excellent movie and I hope DC continues down this path. I think I may just have to get it when it comes out on DVD.
