Fragments Review

Image
I'd like to start off my saying I'm sorry for not posting. I accidentally took a hiatus. However, I'm back with a review, so let's get right into it. Fragments is the second book in the Partials Sequence written by Dan Wells. The genre is dystopian and sci-fi. " Author Dan Wells is back with the sequel to the sci-fi blockbuster  Partials , which Pittacus Lore called a "thrilling sci-fi adrenaline rush, with one of the most compelling and frightening visions of Earth's future I've seen yet." After discovering the cure for RM, Kira Walker sets off on a terrifying journey into the ruins of postapocalyptic America and the darkest desires of her heart in order to uncover the means—and a reason—for humanity's survival. Dan Wells extends his richly imagined, gritty world and introduces new memorable characters in this second installment in the Partials Sequence. "~Goodreads Fragments moved slow in the first several chapters and I was star...

In Harm's Way Review

Image
In Harm's Way is written by M.H. Snowy and is due for release June 1, 2016. I'm guessing it is the first in a series since it ended with "end of part 1." It's a fantasy short story (and in my opinion kind of cute). " Nightmares or waking dreams? Only the keeper of the Legend knows…and it’s up to him to keep them from Harm! By day, Jeffery is the best friend of Montague the magician. By night, he’s the powerful warrior, Harm, The Legend, who leads a band of Berserkers—ridding the land of evil while saving villages by the score. Only Montague knows the villagers also have to cough up a hefty pouch of coin for the privilege of being rescued! All Jeffery knows is he has no memory of any battle he fights. Under the Spirit of Lohocla, he awakens the morning after the battle barely able to think for the pain in his skull and the lethargy in his body. The more Jeffery tries to discover his lost memories, the vaguer Montague becomes until it’s too late not to tell ...

BFF Book Tag

Today I'm bringing you the BFF book tag! I was tagged by  Nevermind the Furthermore . It looks really cool so let's get started. Setting the Example: A pair/group of book BFF's that you love. Cammie Morgan, Liz, Beth, and Macy from the Gallagher Girl series by Ally Carter. They all have their differences but they somehow work very well. They kind of remind me of my group of friends. Childhood Bestie: Which book character would you have liked to grow up with. I almost put down Percy Jackson. Almost. I think it would be great to have grown up with Amy Cahill from the 39 Clues. I feel like the both of us have so much in common that we would be great friends. Frenemy: Which book character would bring out your competitive side. Hermione Granger. We could be friends but I would definitely be infuriated by her smartness at times (like how she always  knows the answer it seems). I started getting annoyed by her in the fourth book till she had redeeming moments in...
